You can simplify roster updates between seasons and make sure your players' accounts stay connected to all their teams by copying players from old rosters to new ones. Here's how:

Step 1: Create the New Team

1. Log in to your Trace account

2. Navigate to the Teams section in your dashboard.

3. Create a New Team

• Tap the Create a Team button.
  

  Write a caption...

• Enter your team details:

  • Team Name (e.g., "Spring 2025 Test")

  • Birth Year (e.g., "2010")

  • Gender (e.g., "Boys" or "Girls")

• Tap "Create Team" to save.

  

• The new team will now appear in your dashboard.

Step 2: Copy a Roster from an Existing Team

1. Open the Existing Team’s Dashboard

2. Tap on the team whose roster you want to copy.

3. Go to the Roster tab.

   

4. Choose the players you want to copy to the new team:

   Select the entire roster.

   

   Or pick specific players (e.g., exclude players not returning).

   

5. Copy Players to New Team:

   Click Copy to Team at the bottom of the roster.

   

   Select the new team you created.

   

   Confirm the selected players and tap Copy to Team.

   

Step 3: Copy Individual Players (for Club accounts only)

1. In the dashboard, navigate to the Seats section to see all players in your club account.

   

2. Choose the specific players to you want to move to a new team.

   

3. Tap Copy to Team and follow the same steps to select and confirm the destination team.
